How to Play Blooket
A game-based learning platform, Blooket, combines assessment and engagement by offering learners games that resemble popular video games they can play for fun. The different game modes offer learners a chance to practice questions from any subject, while also earning points and unlocking power-ups. This allows them to demonstrate their knowledge in a way that is engaging and rewarding, which can make learning more efficient and effective than traditional assessment.

Teachers can host a live game from their dashboard by clicking "Host Game". They will then be provided with a numbered code that they can share with students to join the game. Once a student enters the game they will have to choose a blook, a name for their avatar that represents them in the game, and track their performance as they answer questions correctly. Students can also earn power-ups that give them a chance to increase their score or advance to the next level in the game.

While players do not need to have an account to join a game, they can create one for themselves to access their personal performance data and receive rewards. Players can also connect with other students to form teams to compete in the games. This feature can be especially useful for students who are unable to attend classes due to illness or other reasons.

Once a student has joined a live game, they can participate in it from anywhere by inputting the numbered code into their browser and then clicking on "Join Game." Once the player is in the game lobby, they will need to follow the instructions to answer questions correctly. Once they have answered all of the questions, they will then be awarded rewards and a badge that shows how well they have done.

The games are designed to be challenging and require students to keep focused as they answer questions. Some of the games also have a timer, so it is important for students to stay on task and not try to rush through the questions. Students can use power-ups during the game to help them, but they must remember that these will only work for a limited time.

To get started, students can log into their Blooket accounts by entering the Game ID or QR code they received from a teacher. From there they can browse the Discover section or create a game on their own using the "Create Game" button on the dashboard. They can then choose a game mode, add their own questions, and import question sets from Quizlet.

Once  blooket code  have created a game, the teacher can share it with other students by copying the link or sharing the Game ID. Then, the other students can join the game by entering the code or scanning the QR code. The student who is hosting the game can change their blooks, banners and titles in the Market to match their personality or the topic of the game.
